Powder, Dancer & Me

I had watched some amazing photos of dancers doing some incredible movements in the middle of a powder cloud and i said: "well it's time for me to try this technique". So i spoke to my friend Alex who is a dancer and asked him if he would be interested in participating in my new project, he said yes! I looked for assistants and Vicky and Mike said yes, so the team was complete.
I watched several video tutorials explaining how to place the lights, assistants throwing flour, etc. I bought 4kilos of flour thinking it would be enough (big mistake), glowing powder, and powder cannons.
I wanted to do try something different so i decided to do the shoot at 9am in the middle of a park instead using a dark studio (yeah i like complicating my life sometimes). Once on the shoot all the flour was gone after 15 minutes! I wasn't getting what i wanted and i was going crazy! I decided to try at night time and Alex and Vicky were so generous to give me another 2 hours of their time to do a second photo shoot that same day.
Everything went better and smoothly, lesson learned, to do this kind of photography you need to control the lights, avoid wind, day light and get a trampoline! That's me i always try and learn on the way. Thank you so much guys for participating in this craziness.
